- Tutorials will start Thursday Nov 8th.
- Till the then:
- Register with the SCI to get an account for the terminal computers, if you haven't already. We recommend to use the SCI computers in the terminal rooms for this course.. You can also work on your private machine, but we might not be able to help you if you have problems.
- Read into the Python programming language. We recommend Learn Python The Hard Way and Think Python - How to Think Like a Computer Scientist in no particular order. Both are available for free on the linked web sites. You don't have to finish the books, but make sure you covered the basics.
We will review some basic data structures, algorithms and concepts needed for the course and we will discuss the homework for the coming week, HW1. Also we will make sure that everybody has a partner to do the homework with.
